Theatre in the Park, the annual al fresco summer theatre season hosted by Exeter Phoenix, is returning to Rougemont Gardens from Thursday 30 July.

This year’s season begins with Sun & Moon Theatre’s touring production of Twelfth Night, or What You Will, which sets Shakespeare’s tale of mistaken identity, complete with live music, in 1950’s Illyria.

The season continues with a Spork! summer special hosted by Chris White, with spoken-word poetry from Sophie Dumont and T.S. IDIOT in performances suitable for audiences aged 14 and over.

Theatre company The Last Baguette then brings the season to a close with the family-friendly BIN RAT!!!, an exploration of the world of refuse and recycling with music, puppets and physical comedy.
