Short film festival Two Short Nights returns to Exeter Phoenix for its 24th year on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 March with screenings of short films, an awards ceremony and more.

The festival’s first day includes four short film screenings, an evening social event and a pitch session for aspiring film-makers which offers a chance to secure £800 cash and £1500 of in-kind support to produce a short film.

Its second day features three more short film screenings plus The Museum of Roadside Magic, an archive exhibition by artist Libby Bove which documents the use of magical practice, folk custom and plant knowledge.

The festival culminates with the Exeter Phoenix short film commission premiere, a screening of the best films from the 48 Hour Film Challenge and an award ceremony and festival after-party.
