Exeter Quayside Farmers’ Market returns to Piazza Terracina on Saturday 20 December for a festive edition with local produce, hand-made goods, hot drinks and more.

Launched by Food Exeter in June, and attracting around 1,000 visitors on its first day, the monthly market aims to increase access to nutritious, healthy food for Exeter residents and visitors.

Meats will be available from West Town Farm and Clarences of Dartmoor, cheese from Sharpham Cheese and Quicke’s, jams and chutneys from Devon Orchard and baked goods from The Sidwell Street Bakehouse and Südwest Kitchen.

Local cider, beer, herbal tea, coffee and chocolate as well as artisan soap, flowers and art prints will all also be on sale.

Warm food and drinks will be provided by St Thomas community outfit Love Food CIC with warm mulled apple juice and a crêpe wagon.

There will also be live music and face-painting by Sparkly Sonia.
