Italian Cultural Association Exeter hosts a day of music, dance, poetry and Italian culture.

Italian Cultural Association Exeter is celebrating the Festa Di Liberazione with a day of music, singing, dance and poetry on Sunday 27 April at Kaleider.

The event begins at 2pm with an optional music and dance workshop hosted by Trikkeballakke and La Tarantella.

At 4pm Italian photographer and art director Daniele Marzeddu will present his book Film of Sicily and Sardinia, accompanied by the original music soundtrack of Michele Bertoni.

An Italian buffet with vegetarian cold snacks will be served by Pesto - A Taste of Italy from 5pm. Poetry and prose readings and a Trikkeballakke concert follow.

Drinks will be available for purchase at a bar provided by Daily Bowl.

Italian Cultural Association Exeter is a community organisation that aims to bring Italians living in Devon together with local people interested in Italian culture.

It runs film screenings, Italian language and food-sharing social events and Italian music and dance workshops and music evenings.

Festa Di Liberazione, or Liberation Day, is a national holiday celebrating the victory of the Italian Resistance movement against Nazi Germany and the Italian Social Republic.

Festa Di Liberazione takes place from 2-7pm on Sunday 27 April 2025 at Kaleider Studios in Exeter.

Tickets for the buffet and concert cost £12.50 for adults, £6 for children and £2 for children under four years of age. Tickets for the afternoon music and dance workshop cost £6.
