Día de Muertos

Live music, food and drinks in celebration of the Day of the Dead.

Daily Bowl is hosting a special Día de Muertos latin music night on Saturday 2 November with food, drinks and live music performed by Flor da Pele.

Día de Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, is an annual holiday in Mexico which honours the deceased.

Celebrations include creating ofrendas, home altars that are decorated with flowers and food for those who have passed.

The Daily Bowl celebration will feature an ofrenda created at a crafting session on Wednesday 30 October.

All are welcome to join and bring mementos of lost loved ones to add to the shrine.

Daily Bowl, a plant-based café beside Exeter Central railway station, hosts a regular latin music night on the third Saturday of each month and a regular folk music event on the last Friday of each month.

Día de Muertos takes place at 8pm on Saturday 2 November 2024 at Daily Bowl and is free to attend.

There will be margaritas, beer, wine, cold drinks and Mexican-inspired snacks available for purchase.
