Little Angel Theatre is presenting a performance of Dogs Don’t Do Ballet, based on the children’s book, on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 February at Emmanuel Hall in St Thomas.
Dogs Don’t Do Ballet tells the story of Biff the dog, who likes to ballet dance, using puppetry and music in a comedic style. The performance is suitable for children aged two and above.
Little Angel Theatre is a puppet theatre company based in Islington. A registered charity, it has been producing shows for children and young people since 1961.
It performs at its London home and tours productions across the UK and abroad.
The performances are taking place as part of What If…?, a festival of children’s stories hosted by Theatre Alibi in Emmanuel Hall from 31 January to 17 February.
The festival programme includes performances, workshops, an exhibition and author and illustrator talks.
The first event, Igloo by Travelling Light, takes place on Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 January.
