Exeter City Council is seeking feedback on a draft 2023-27 council housing strategy that will guide the way it manages its stock of 4,800 rented homes and 1,000 leasehold properties over the next five years.
The strategy addresses regulatory changes introduced in recent legislation and a new code of practice issued by the Housing Ombudsman last year in the context of the council’s current corporate plan and a range of other council policies.
It also addresses new council housing provision, retrofitting and repairs, statutory homelessness duty delivery and capital and revenue budget management.
Comments on the strategy can be submitted until 4 October via a short online survey.
