Apply for membership of Exeter Observer
Membership of Exeter Observer requires the purchase of a £1 share in the society. As a subscription is also payable, the share purchase is included in the first membership payment.
Membership subscriptions are payable monthly or annually by direct debit. As the bank charges a fee for each transaction we invite all those who can afford to do so to pay annually.
Membership may also be conferred on contributors. This enables all those who wish to support us to be able to do so without there being a financial barrier to membership.
The standard subscription rate is £10 per month. Some members pay £15 per month to sponsor a membership at £5 per month for those on low incomes who cannot afford the standard rate.
Please get in touch if you would like to sponsor more than one low income subscription.
Membership of Exeter Observer entails agreeing, when acting as a member, to act in the interests of the society and for the benefit of the community as a guardian of the objects of the society.
Applicants must be at least sixteen years old. The society’s registered Rules are available to download in full from the FCA website.
Exeter Observer is published by Exeter Observer Limited, Community Benefit Society No. 8435 registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.
